THE ROLE
The Lost Estate is looking for a brilliant Senior Creative Strategist to lead its Meta advertising initiative to the next level of both profitability and scale.
WELCOME TO THE LOST ESTATE
We are the UK’s master world-builders. We fuse art (live music, theatre, dance, etc.) with hospitality and design to create genre-defining immersive experiences. From the legend of Swan Lake (The Great Masked Ball, 2018) to a Sherlock Holmes thriller (The Great Murder Mystery, 2024), each experience is unique. We believe that great art, in the right place, at the right time, has the power to transform lives—our goal is to maximise that impact, building our unique genre of live art into an international cultural icon. We want you to be part of that.
THE STORY SO FAR
Founded in 2018 by three classical musicians (and still founder-led), The Lost Estate spent five years running pop-ups before opening our first permanent home in 2023: a 30,000 sq ft former mannequin factory in Earls Court, now a cutting-edge arts and hospitality complex anchored by a 250-seat immersive theatre.
Next came two years of triple-digit growth. Our team grew to ~70-people, we opened a second site in Peckham—a 5,000 sq ft warehouse for our new concept 58th Street (www.58thstreet.com), and we welcomed 100,000+ guests to a string of sold-out shows. A two-time Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice winner and hailed as London’s “entertainment heavyweights” by The Evening Standard, we stand apart artistically and commercially: a fully independent, bootstrapped, and profitable arts startup.
A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY (why we’re hiring)
In 2025, we need to consolidate existing growth and prepare for what’s next—these two venues are just the start of our journey. Your mission is to help us do that.
Our Performance Marketing team have spent the last 3 months building an in-house “creative system” for paid Meta—a methodology, team structure, and creative roster that can scale us from where we are (c. £20M) to high eight figures (and beyond). All we need is an exceptional creative leader to unleash that system’s full potential.
As Senior Creative Strategist, you’ll own our Paid Meta system—overseeing targets for content quality, volume, and variety. You’ll create campaigns that bring world-class immersive experiences to life. You’ll refine the underlying processes behind those campaigns so we can scale production and you’ll mentor your team into better creative strategists in their own right.
The Lost Estate thrives on breaking boundaries. Our marketing team does likewise. Many of the marketing tactics now commonplace in our industry were pioneered by The Lost Estate— we aspire to be the cutting edge of arts and hospitality marketing at all times. Now it’s time to define our next marketing frontier and we want you to lead that charge. This role offers you the chance to:
* Work at the cutting edge of creative paid social advertising in the UK.
* Get the best of agency and in-house worlds. Lead campaigns for a premium brand, working every day with a product truly worth marketing, rich in incredible creative assets. But also enjoy massive variety—The Lost Estate launches multiple new concepts per year meaning you’ll work with radically different creative, tones of voice, and show brands all the time.
* Be part of a tight-knit team on a mission to turn an 8-figure-and-growing scale up into an international cultural icon.
* Create your own adventure. The Lost Estate is still relatively small. The right candidate has the opportunity to make a huge mark, build their own team, and move on to broader growth roles, should they wish.
This is a full-time, permanent role for a bold creative who thrives at the intersection of art, analysis, and commercial delivery—someone looking to do the best work of their career to date.
