About the role: As our Site Manager, reporting to the Divisional Director, you will manage new build housing construction on site, in compliance with approved drawings, specifications and procedures. The Site Manager will be directly responsible for all employees and sub-contractors working on site and ensure compliance with the company’s Health & Safety policy. The site area covered will be predominantly Wiltshire, with occasional visits to our head office in Swindon. However, in general the area covered by this role will be Swindon 1 hour travel. Your key responsibilities as our Site Manager will include: Ensuring that all employees and sub-contractors comply with the site rules and procedures to ensure the Health & Safety for all Assisting the Divisional Director in the devlopment of the site programme to achieve the desired targets Ensure a high standard of conduct and workmanship, including site presentation and housekeeping Liaising with the buyer regarding main/bulk materials orders Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, employees and sub-contractors Remain current with legislative requirements and consult with professional advisors Operate as the company’s site representative and assisting all visitors. What we’re looking for in our Site Manager: Successful applicants with have relevant experience in managing construction of new build housing Excellent communication and relationship building skills Have Site Management Safety Training Scheme (STSMS) certification A full driving licence and car is essential Training in first aid and temporary works is desirable.
