Contract and Risk Management:
* Lead contract negotiation processes, ensuring favourable terms while minimising risks.
* Ensure that all procurement activities are compliant with the company's policies, legal regulations, and contractual obligations.
* Monitor and manage supplier performance during the bidding phase, identifying risks and issues early on and working to resolve them.
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Act as the primary point of contact between the procurement function and other departments, including engineering, finance, and project management.
* Ensure clear communication and alignment on procurement activities, timelines, and deliverables.
* Support client-facing presentations and discussions related to procurement strategies and supplier selection.
Documentation and Reporting:
* Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including supplier evaluations, purchase orders, and contracts.
* Prepare procurement-related reports and analysis for management review.
* Track and report on procurement performance metrics for each bid, providing feedback on areas for improvement.
