We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team at HMP Highpoint, a category C prison located in Suffolk.
Hours
The site currently offers a 4 week rota, to include weekends and bank holidays.
Salary
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £28,690 per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Be involved in the implementation of clinical care packages, phlebotomy, and assessment, treatment and the evaluation of patients' care.
* Support and assist patients with the activities of daily living, work with the Pharmacy Team to help them fulfill their daily tasks, and take the lead on well-being promotion clinics.
* Support the registered nurse and operating department practitioner in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received while promoting safe patient care and developing new skills.
