About the role:
We're seeking a Social Media Marketing Executive with 1 - 2 years experience, who understands how to build authentic local communities and can translate that knowledge into measurable growth. This isn't just about posting on social media – it's about creating genuine connections between Elder, local families, and healthcare providers in Manchester and Cheshire.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Director and working closely with teams across Elder, you will be a proactive and data-driven individual capable of working well within a team and by yourself.
What You'll Do:
* Own our organic, local social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms
* Network with social media groups, individuals and businesses in targeted areas to promote the Elder service and brand.
* Build and manage local digital communities that connect families, carers, and healthcare providers
* Create engaging content that resonates with our Manchester and Cheshire audiences
* Develop relationships with local healthcare providers and community leaders
* Transform local partnerships into digital engagement opportunities
* Track and optimise growth metrics
* Work closely with our sales team to convert community engagement into customer relationships
* Liaise with media agencies, media and various businesses to obtain quotes, information and translate back to team
* Write content and produce marketing collateral with the support of Elder's design team.

* Proven track record of building and growing engaged social communities
* Experience creating authentic, engaging social content
* Ability to write compelling, empathetic content for sensitive topics
* Experience with social media analytics and growth metrics
* Strong project management and organisational skills

* Personal experience building a social following
* Healthcare or care sector experience
* Experience managing Facebook Groups
* Local event organisation experience
* Understanding of paid social media
* Experience with community management tools
* Strong understanding of Manchester/Cheshire local market and communities
