Cemetery and Crematorium Clerk Part Time - 22.2 hours per week Salary: £25,183 - £25,992 per annum pro rata We are looking for 2 people to help deliver the Council’s Cemetery and Crematorium Service. You will be mainly based at the cemetery, providing clerical and administrative support to help the team with the provision of the burial and cremation service. This will involve taking bookings, record keeping and taking payments for memorialisation. You will also be the first point of contact for enquiries relating to both the cemetery and crematorium. A good standard of general education and an ability to work and communicate effectively with persons at all levels is essential. As well as an ability to deal with people in a caring and compassionate manner, as the post holder will regularly come into contact with members of the public who are upset and distressed following bereavement. Contracted hours are part time - 22.2 hours per week, with occasional weekend working.
