New opportunity for a Construction Planner to be based at our client site facility for a duration of 12 months.
The opportunity will ensure responsibility for the Construction phase of the Project as planned by producing reports and using project management tools while developing and improving the Programme to complete the Project's construction based on budget, work schedule, and available resources.

What will you be doing?
Day to day you will interact across the construction and planning departments to develop and improve Level 3 and Level 4 Schedules in line with Project Planning Procedure while ensuring the Project’s compliance with Contract’s requirements related to the Programme.
You will also be required to:
1. Interact with construction to ensure live accurate data is received and reflected in the programme.
2. Liaise with procurement and expediting team for delivery of materials and equipment and communicate any potential delays or impact to programme.
3. Be aware of the overall Programme of the Subcontractors to be able to promptly inform of potential impacts on the Programme.
4. Inform and analyse about any Construction delays or about any failures to comply with the timescale of the Project and make proposals for improvements.
5. Carry out weekly meetings with the project team.
6. Incorporate into the Programme when necessary, the Compensation Event and Project Management Instructions.
What do you need to be considered?
1. Minimum 5 years project planning experience utilizing bespoke planning programs.
2. Must have experience in Major Construction / Industrial Project planning activities, preferably with knowledge of EPC delivery.
3. Experience and knowledge of NEC Contract requirements.
4. Experience and knowledge in MS Office (specifically MS Word & MS Excel).
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
