WHAT IS YOUR ROLE?
As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining innovative marketing strategies that deliver a positive ROI for the business, with a focus on boosting brand awareness as well as supporting candidate and client attraction.
Working closely with the Board of Directors, you will be in control of planning and owning the marketing strategy, activity, content and social media across the business including social media, blogs, email and print/promotional products where needed, focussing on building brand awareness; your main responsibilities will include the attraction of new candidates and clients for the agency and internal staff, monitoring and reporting on ROI.
This role offers you the career progression you are looking for with exposure working at a senior level where you will be seen and treated as the expert; offering hybrid working split between the office and remote, flexibility is on offer for you.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
You’ll be responsible for owning and delivering Smile Education’s marketing strategy, including:
Maintaining and delivering a content calendar for Smile’s organic social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X
Using Canva to design digital and printed marketing materials, including social media and email graphics as well as leaflets, booklets and business cards
Search Engine Optimisation tactics to increase organic web traffic
Writing regular blog posts for the Smile Education website
Planning and delivering engaging email marketing campaigns for our pool of candidates
Using CMS to maintain and update the website as and when needed
Implementing paid social media campaigns using Meta Business Suite
Measuring, monitoring and increasing volume and quality of applications through above marketing activities
Reporting on the success of marketing activities using Google Analytics
Supporting different areas of the business with the above activities, including internal recruitment and Smile’s MSP clients
Managing and monitoring marketing budget to ensure marketing spend and investments deliver effective ROI
Maintaining Smile’s brand guidelines, ensuring all marketing materials meet these
Researching and applying to relevant industry awards
Creating content for the company intranet and other internal communications activities where needed
ARE YOU IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE?
You’ll be an adaptable, creative marketing all-rounder, with:
Previous digital marketing experience
Experience of strategic marketing planning, campaign creation and management
The ability to bring ideas to life through engaging content, including social media, blogs, videos, photos, graphics, and traditional marketing materials such as leaflets
Experience managing multiple social media platforms to promote brand awareness
A solid understanding of reporting and analysis to assess marketing ROI
An understanding of print and promotional marketing materials (i.e. setting artwork up for print, ordering promotional materials for events)
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to juggle intersecting and changing deadlines effectively
Knowledge and understanding of SEO and how to increase the visibility of key search terms on Google would be ideal
Knowledge/experience of the following tools is essential to this role:
Canva or similar graphic design software
Google Analytics
Mailchimp or a similar email campaign tool
Desirable:
Google Search Console
SemRush
Google Business Manager
Microsoft SharePoint
Experience in working with external marketing/web agencies
You’ll be:
A confident communicator, including with senior external and internal stakeholders
Comfortable taking ownership of Smile Education’s marketing activities and building genuine relationships to work with multiple people across the business
Proactive, self-motivated and reliable
