We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeping Specialist to join our client's team. As a key member of the existing team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's finances, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, and maintaining and updating sales records regularly.

Key Responsibilities
1. Bookkeeping: Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, including bookkeeping up to trial balance stage.
2. Daily Financial Operations: Manage tasks such as posting supplier invoices, reconciling supplier accounts, accounts payable management, creating customer invoices, accounts receivable management, and more.
3. Monthly Sales Records: Maintain and update sales records regularly.
4. Bank/Credit-Card Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
5. VAT Returns and Analysis: Handle monthly VAT returns and conduct necessary analysis.
6. Aged Debtors Reports and Credit Control: Prepare monthly reports and provide credit control as needed.
7. Lodgements: Prepare lodgements efficiently.
8. Payroll Payments: Process monthly payroll payments.
Requirements
1. A minimum of three years' experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
2. Achieved at least a GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English.
3. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
4. A strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.
5. Competent knowledge and proficiency in using the Sage 50 accounts package.
