Job summary Job Title- Clinical Assistant/ Receptionist Hours: Monday- Friday Location: Bristol Following the Michael Richards report, in which it was highlighted that diagnostic services should be delivered taking a new approach to provide more accessibility to people in the community away from acute settings, we at InHealth are excited to be partnering with the NHS to develop new Community Diagnostic Centres to support this vison. Following this we are delighted to have opened a new Community Diagnostic Centre in Bristol. Right now we are looking to recruit a Clinical Assistant/ Receptionist into the team, to work alongside the Radiography Department - but primarily working on reception and supporting with Clinical Assistant responsibilities within the Radiography department as required. Main duties of the job What will you do: As a clinical assistant, supporting the Radiography department, the core of your role is to ensure our patients receive the best standard of care from arrival through to departure. The Clinical Assistant is primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the working day by welcoming patients into the clinical area and preparing them for their scan. You will also be required to complete some administrative tasks within the department, however this role will mostly be patient facing. Welcoming patients in a professional, courteous manner, coordinating their arrival through to departure Escorting patients to and from the clinical area as required, explaining the procedure in full and ensuring any questions or concerns are managed professionally Completing the patient's pre-scan data protection/consent form and health and safety questionnaire (where applicable) Assessing and monitoring the patient's condition after procedure, ensuring that any changes are reported to the relevant staff immediately Accurately entering all relevant patient data into the patient management system Managing administrative tasks within the department as required.
