Job summary An opportunity has arisen for a Learning & Development Assistant to join the Learning & Development Team. This a varied role providing high quality administrative support services for the Learning & Development Team. The Learning & Development Assistant role co-ordinates the Trust Training Programme: arranging training courses, liaising with course facilitators and subject matter experts, and providing an efficient and effective booking and completion recording service for staff training. The role is the first point of contact for staff with enquiries for the Learning & Development Team, and will assist with enquiries on the telephone, by email or face-to-face. The Learning & Development Assistant will also provide eLearning support to staff. Main duties of the job Support the provision of all learning and development for Trust staff. Ensure the high standards which the department currently maintains are upheld. Use various computer systems including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft 365 apps. Use the Trust's Learning Management System, Learning Lab, to carry out their responsibilities. Organise, administer and promote the Trust's Training Programme as well as personal development training. Arrange training courses, liaise with course facilitators and venues, take course bookings and co-ordinate delivery of pre-course learning materials. Implement weekly and monthly standard procedures/audits and record, maintain and report on training data.
