We are currently recruiting full time Regional Director to lead a team of Service Managers who manage individual’s packages of support with learning disability and autism in your area. The Role As a Regional Director you will lead your team of Service Managers, establishing and maintaining a culture of excellence across all operational services in your area. You will support your team, ensuring the delivery of the area operational plan, taking responsibility and ownership of the growth within your region. You will be responsible for the efficient and effective running of the care support packages in your region, working closely with our specialist services department and wider support functions to ensure outstanding practice is always delivered. You will support with the coaching and developing of Service Managers. You will work side by side with the teams to ensure they are delivering first class care and support. We are a paperless organisation therefore applicants must have excellent I.T skills and the ability to understand online systems and processes. Duties Responsible for regional P&L & delivering on the set budget for your region. Ensuring you build effective relationships with our clients and multiple disciplinary teams to support client retention, visiting the individual’s homes, to maintain positive relationships. You will have a responsibility of looking for new business opportunities in line with the business growth strategy for your region. You will ensure the packages of care within your region are mobilised in line with set target dates, working closely with recruitment, HR, specialist services & wider support functions to ensure safe transitions. Attend and lead weekly operational meetings to ensure all operational matters relating to the mobilisation of packages are on target to meet package go live date. Team engagement is imperative to drive succuss within the organisation. You will play a key role in ensuring your entire team maintains a good level of engagement, working closely with HR & wider support teams to help drive set initiatives. You will work closely with our quality & governance department, ensuring excellence within your region, maintaining overall compliance in line with our set policies and procedures Stakeholder management: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., HR, Recruitment, training,) and external stakeholders (e.g., clients, local authorities, regulatory bodies) to ensure smooth service delivery. Monitor the quality-of-service delivery during the mobilisation phase, ensuring that all client needs are met to the highest standard. Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of mobilisation activities, including any challenges and proposed solutions. Proactively manage any potential issues in existing packages of care in your region, escalating any areas of concern. Actively develop a high-level understanding of relevant CQC standards & Home not hospitals internal policies & procedures, staying up to date with latest training as and when required Meet key performance indictors set as part of your role along with ensuring your service manager KPI’s, supervisions, appraisals, and probation reviews are at an appropriate level of completion. Participate with company on-call Where absolutely required, cover shifts for packages of support to avoid hospital admission Experience and Skills Required A minimum level 5 diploma or NVQ in health and social care Minimum 5 years management experience in Health and Social Care. Previous experience of overlooking services for individuals with a Learning Disability or Autism is imperative. Multi-site management experience particularly CQC registered service. Excellent understanding of the CQC frameworks. Ability to build relationships with the Local Commissioners. Understanding of budgets & P&L Genuine passion in caring for adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health diagnosis.
