Assheton Arms is run by Bowland Inns. It is a country pub with 12 bedrooms in the heart of the Ribble Valley. Refined country pub classic food, drinks, and events are catered for, with menus full of hearty favourites and ever-changing specials to suit every taste.
Description
1. Assist and monitor food stocks and stock movement.
2. Ensure minimum kitchen wastage.
3. Learn and record skills and recipes from other members of the department.
4. Follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen and clean the section and other areas as directed.
5. Ensure stock is controlled and rotated. Accept and store deliveries.
6. Arrive punctually for your shift wearing the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance at all times.
7. Be helpful and accommodating. Fulfill all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their satisfaction and repeat business.
8. Be organised so that meals go out on time and the work area remains clean and orderly.
9. Build and maintain good relationships with all team members and be willing to take on jobs.
10. Report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef immediately.
11. Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that all statutory regulations are observed.
12. Comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.
13. Be flexible and willing to help other departments at busy times if required.
