We are currently looking for a flexible, customer facing person to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible forsupporting thesmooth running and maintenance of the Library Service IT systems, digital resourcesand front line operations.
The main duties of the post;
* To support branch libraries in the management of IT systems and frontline operation.
* To assist in the development, implementation and promotion of digital resources for the Library Service.
* To assist members of the public in the use and operation of our computers and printing facilities
* To assist in the development of a digital skills training programme for the Library Service.
* To contribute to the development of the Library Service website.
* To provide training and support to Community Managed Libraries.
* To assist with frontline library duties as and when required.
* To undertake projects commensurate with the grade and duties of the post as required by the Library Service Manager.
