What the Job Involves This position entails overseeing the assessment of pupils with special educational needs and ensuring compliance with statutory procedures. You will be responsible for the appropriate placement and ongoing provision arrangements for pupils residing in Enfield, both inside and outside the Local Authority area. The role demands close collaboration with a post-14 team to support the transition and long-term educational goals of these pupils. Skills Minimum 6 months experience in SEN Casework and EHC Plan writing for a Local Authority Recent experience in Local Authority SEN within the last 2 years Knowledge of The Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Code of Practice 2015 & SEND Regulations 2014 Exceptionally high standard of written skills for producing EHCPs Excellent organisational skills to manage conflicting demands and meet deadlines
