Job Mission
ASML is the world’s leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry, manufacturing complex machines that are critical to the production of integrated circuits or microchips. This position is for a Senior Electrical Engineer with an innovative attitude to work in Manufacturing Test Engineering. The candidate will work with development engineers to implement comprehensive production tests that incorporate a high level of performance verification and troubleshooting diagnostics.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for people management and career development activities including recruiting, onboarding, training, mentoring, coaching, and performance evaluation.
2. Develop and maintain department Target Annual Plan (TAP).
3. Drive business cases development and support project leads in Configuration Control Board meetings.
4. Represent and support Production Engineering teams in progress reviews and cross-sector meetings.
5. Lead production engineering to support development engineers to converge on an overall design solution that addresses comprehensive production manufacturability with high levels of diagnostics for troubleshooting.
6. Develop and maintain module manufacturing processes.
7. Investigate technical issues both analytically using design documentation and physically in a production environment.
8. Support operations to deliver modules on time that meet high standards of quality.
9. Report production status, issues, gaps, and barriers to Sr. Management. Timely escalate issues that can’t be solved within the own circle of influence.
10. Drive cross-sector teams to achieve high standards of quality for both product and tooling.
Education:
Minimum BS in Engineering with MS or MBA preferred, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
1. Minimum 10 years of experience developing manufacturing processes for new products, including at least 5 years leading a group or a major project.
2. Experience in developing Manufacturing readiness plans to introduce new products into Production.
3. Experience in leading cross-sector teams to implement Manufacturing readiness plans for new product industrialization.
4. Experience in developing budgetary needs for facilities, capital equipment, and headcount.
5. Experience in managing new product introduction and industrialization.
6. Background in optical engineering is preferred.
7. Background in opto-mechanical metrology equipment/interface to data acquisition is preferred.
