Job Title: Early Years Practitioner (Level 3 Qualified)
Location: Primary School in BD14
Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term until December 2025
Academic Appointments are looking for a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our team in a primary school in BD14. This full-time role is set to begin in January 2025 and will run through to the end of the school year in December 2025. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting young learners and creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where they can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the planning and delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities for children in the early years
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
Work closely with the teaching team to assess individual learning needs and adapt activities accordingly
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers to support each child’s growth and well-being
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment
Observe and record children’s progress, contributing to their learning profiles and sharing updates with parents and the teaching team
Requirements:
A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally in a primary school environment
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A passion for early childhood education and a nurturing approach to supporting young children’s learning
