We have an exciting position available for a Swimming Inclusion Officer whose role is to support the Lead Swimming teachers with the management of the school and private swimming lesson programmes with regard to SEND needs. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self motivated team player for this role, with suitable experience, who is reliable, has good communication skills and the ability to ensure quality standards are maintained across all teams and facilities within the areas. The successful candidate will play an integral part in working alongside the Lead Swimming teachers and their teams, developing the centre programmes, school and private swimming lessons, SEND provision, health & safety procedures, customer service and be a driving force behind increased retention and attendances across the areas. The successful candidate will also be expected to assist the Sport & Leisure Manager and Assistant Sport & Leisure Manager with the management & development of Salford Community Leisure s Aquatic programme which is delivered across the city in line with Swim England National Teaching Plans. This role will be based across a number of sites and the successful candidate will need to be flexible with regard to their working hours and will be expected to cover at sites on occasions with regard to annual leave, training courses and any eventualities that may arise. We are looking for someone who ideally: has previous experience in a Sport & Leisure capacity or equivalent role. has previous experience working with children and adults with SEND. can work to deadlines. can produce monthly reports on their area of responsibility. has good communication & IT skills. can converse with customers & partners effectively. has good motivational skills has commitment to a high standard of work. is able to work on own initiative. is able to work as an efficient member of a team. consistently demonstrates SCL s behaviours.
