The Role: Associate Engineer
This is an entry-level position, where you will be part of the dynamic design team, at the forefront of delivering innovative engineering solutions across multiple disciplines. From developing state-of-the-art WiFi systems and groundbreaking DC microgrids to designing world-class audio propagation models, no two days are the same.
Your work will have a tangible impact, with project cycles of 4-12 months allowing you to see the results of your designs in action.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with senior engineers to produce detailed specifications, schedules, and documentation for electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
2. Deliver high-quality, precise CAD drawings.
3. Contribute to the design of innovative systems in areas such as:
1. WiFi, Ethernet, and IP communications.
2. Audio and voice alarms.
3. CCTV, video, and display technologies.
4. DC microgrid power distribution and stored energy.
5. Fibre optics and bespoke equipment housing.
4. Conduct engineering calculations, data analysis, and site surveys.
5. Support system commissioning both on-site and remotely, ensuring designs meet stringent performance standards.
About You:
* A degree, HND, HNC, or equivalent in an engineering, scientific, or mathematical discipline.
* Experience in an engineering environment (field, design, or similar).
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with strong analytical skills.
* Adaptable, tenacious, and methodical, with a keen eye for detail.
* Enthusiastic about working across diverse systems and engineering challenges.
