Mountainview High School is seeking a passionate physical education and health teacher for this well-established learning area. Mountainview High School offers a supportive and inclusive environment where staff and students are encouraged to thrive in all areas, including health, fitness and sports.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum including NCEA.
* Good understanding of health and safety in the physical education spaces.
* An ability to build relationships with students.
* Strong classroom management practices.
* An understanding of the health curriculum up to Y11.
* Knowledge of and ability to teach outdoor education would be beneficial and would include additional management unit(s) for a suitable candidate.
