About us:
The Skegby Junior Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust is a vibrant and caring academy located in the Ashfield area of Nottinghamshire, where all staff work hard to ensure pupils have the highest quality learning experiences. Ofsted rate us as ‘Good’. We cater for pupils from Year 3 to Year 6 who are enthusiastic, polite and eager to learn.
Are you a leader who:
• Has relevant and up to date knowledge of teaching and learning strategies across the primary phase;Leads staff effectively to deliver high quality learning experiences for all pupils, particularly those with high levels of educational need;
• Has a thorough understanding of factors that influence pupil performance and how to overcome barriers to learning;
• Has strong organisational skills and is relentlessness in driving educational improvement and raised standards for all pupils;
• Has significant experience of leading and developing others, in particular middle leaders;
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Has previously led a team of people through change and improvement
