A day in this role looks like….As a Contract Compliance & Performance Manager at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Modern Slavery Response Service. Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:To manage the operational responsibility for current and future contract implementation. To manage the ongoing responsibility for monitoring compliance with all elements of the contract on an ongoing basis. To support with managing regular service inspections (both for outreach and accommodation and subsequently developing service improvement plans and reporting to senior management on all areas of contract compliance. To manage responsibility of supporting the service to engage in the CQC inspection regime and internal inspections as required. To manage and develop tools to oversee contract management, including inspection frameworks and monitoring tools, to be utilised by the post holder. To manage and develop tools to equip managers in the service to lead on more local, timely and effective compliance checks. To manage and lead on the timely and accurate submission of all internal and external reports detailing interim strategies to address any areas of underperformance in line with each contract requirement. To manage and update Risk Matrixes appropriately and escalate any risk to senior management. To manage and support the team to best understand and comply with GDPR and information security policies.To lead on regular service inspections (both for outreach and accommodation), and subsequently developing service improvement plans and reporting to senior management on all areas of contract compliance. To ensure the quality of case recording via case management reviews and quality audits. To ensure policy & procedure updates are adequately observed in the service. To develop policies & procedures. To oversee data integrity improvement projects. To be accountable for the delivery of accurate strategic data reports (weekly referrals, client demographic, finance etc). To oversee monthly report quality assurance and financial accuracy. To oversee the completion of consolidated finance reports.To lead, motivate and empower a diverse staff team to deliver excellent outcomes. To develop local staff and support the management of high performing teams and maintain oversight and accountability for performance, quality and delivery. To undertake supervisions, appraisals, and engage in all recruitment, training and performance improvement activities as applicable. To ensure positive working relationships with external stakeholders at an operational and strategic level. To assist the Area Manager in strategic elements of service delivery. To represent the service in front of Commissioners and Directorate. To support on internal and external research projects as well as routine and ad hoc data requests from both internal and external parties. To excel in this role, you should possess:Essential Experience of managing a large service overseeing a variety of different teams to ensure full contract compliance and excellent service delivery.Demonstrable experience of performance monitoring and delivering consistently high standards.Demonstrable ability to analyse complex data sets and use databases to an enhanced level.Ability to confidently use a range of IT packages including MS Office, Teams, Teams app and Power BI.Excellent and advanced Excel skills.The ability to translate complex contracts into clear operational processes including developing guidance documents and training packages.Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues and ability to address them appropriately.Resilience to work in a crisis environment and with traumatised and vulnerable men, women and children, whilst managing diverse and conflicting demands of the post.Understanding of, and the ability and motivation to implement excellent Equality & Diversity practice.Ability to work on own initiative within policy and procedure.Ability to communicate and influence effectively.Excellent oral, written, administration and IT communication skills.Desirable Strong understanding of the National Referral Mechanism, European Convention Against Trafficking, the Modern Slavery Act, Health and Safety plus housing and welfare benefits.Previous experience of external audits and inspection frameworks (ie CQC, Housing Association Inspections etc).Our commitment to Equality, Diversity, and InclusionOur services users come from all walks of life and so do we.
