Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, Emergency Admissions and Urgent Care Band 7.
Would you like to work in a vibrant, forward-thinking Urgent Care setting? Do you like the sound of moving your clinical pharmacy skills to the next level? After the successful establishment of dedicated ward pharmacist in Urgent Care, we have a position for a specialist pharmacist.
You will be working within a team of 4 pharmacists in Urgent Care fully supported by 3 experienced and knowledgeable band 8a Advanced Level pharmacists.
Ideally, you would be an independent prescriber, participating fully in Consultant led board rounds. If you do not meet all the essential criteria for this band 7 post, we may be able to offer a band 6 to 7 progression with a supported training program.

This role is a vital part of the expanding development of DWP service within Urgent Care, and you would need to be ready to take on the responsibility and challenges of a senior and innovative position within a busy clinical environment.
To work with the Pharmacy Clinical Team to provide a comprehensive Pharmacy Service throughout the locality.
To be accountable, under the guidance of the Advanced Clinical Pharmacist, in ED and Urgent Care for the Medicines Management Service provided to Urgent Care patients, staff, and division. To be a clinical specialist and support the Advanced Clinical Pharmacist, ED and Urgent Care in providing a specialist Pharmacy Service to the Urgent Care Team; this may include prescribing, VTE assessment, support and supervision, and developing initiatives.
