Job Overview
Ward 2 is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Ward Assistant to join our team. Our team is friendly, motivated, and committed to providing high quality, expert care in the care of people with diabetes and endocrine problems.
Main Duties of the Job
As an integral part of our team, the postholder will be expected to:
1. Maintain stock levels and reorder stock
2. Ensure good housekeeping
3. Perform bed area cleaning and preparation
4. Provide general support services to our busy ward
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full orientation and training will be given.

Qualifications
* GCSEs A-C (Maths & English) or equivalent qualification or experience
Knowledge

* IT skills and ability to use web-based ordering system
Experience
* Evidence of relevant work experience
* Experience of working in a healthcare setting
