Main duties of the job
Undertakes thorough examination and assessment of adults and children
Undertake the assessment and treatment planning of patients referred in by medical and dental colleagues.
Undertakes the diagnosis, selection of appropriate periodontal techniques and delivery of periodontal care in an effective way. May undertake more advanced periodontal treatment procedures if trained to do so.
To be responsible for promoting the Organisations values and high-performance standards both individually and as a team, in the achievement of our strategic objectives and priorities
Liaise with the dental team, senior leaders, and wider colleagues to maintain the effective running of the dental service
Professionalism, Leadership and Management:

To ensure clinical performance and professional development needs are addressed and that the culture of a learning, innovative organisation delivering high quality clinical services permeates throughout the organisation, with a specific focus on:- GDC registrant staff and locums- Foundation Dentists and Foundation Therapists- Secondees and honorary contract staff
