Behaviour Mentor Location: Lewisham, SE23 Start Date: 22nd April 2025 Pay rate: £104-£115 per day Long-Term Position Long Term Futures are working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Lewisham (SE23) to appoint a committed and proactive Behaviour Mentor. This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with behavioural and emotional needs across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Primary school experience is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with behavioural challenges, both in and out of class Build strong, consistent relationships to promote emotional regulation and positive routines Assist in implementing individual behaviour support plans tailored to each child's needs Deliver tailored activities that promote social skills, self-esteem, and focus Support transitions during unstructured times such as playtime and lunchtimeThe Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience working with children with behavioural, SEMH or SEN needs in a school or similar setting Strong understanding of primary-aged learners and behaviour strategies Patience, consistency, and the ability to form positive, trusting relationships Excellent communication and teamwork skills A background in psychology, youth work, or education (desirable but not essential)Why Work with Long Term Futures?
