Regional Manager - South & East, EF, External Channels Operations
As a regional manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end operations and overall performance of sellers in your region, leading a team of area managers and engaged operations associates (OEs) to deliver a one of a kind experience for sellers and customers. You will lead your region by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to operations and quality metrics such as CPT adherence, Handover adherence, regional capacity utilization, seller return rate, ops productivity, and safety, among others. You will play a vital role in maintaining a vibrant team culture based on customer obsession, trust, respect, continuous learning, safety, and fun. You will work with other Regional Managers to design and operationalize scalable processes and sound playbooks.
Regional Managers are process-driven, comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity, detail-oriented, able to think outside the box, analyze metrics and implement solutions. Regional Managers demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent ownership, the ability to meet deadlines, a willingness to learn new things, and a commitment to the customer and employee experience.
Key job responsibilities
1. Manage a team of area managers, including setting goals, relaying expectations and managing performance, providing regular feedback, and supporting career development.
2. Influence to drive exceptional results in your region, including executing standard operating procedures, identifying areas of improvement, implementing solutions, and providing ongoing feedback to stakeholders.
3. Analyze data and guide the team to adjust as needed.
4. Use business metrics to measure and drive projects related to speed, cost, performance.
5. Use business acumen to identify trends, drive root cause analyses, and resolve issues in operations in a single seller node or across your region.
6. Represent your region in national meetings and respond to escalations from business leaders and other stakeholders.
7. Create and maintain a culture of engagement by routinely listening to feedback from leaders, associates, and customers, analyzing qualitative and quantitative inputs, and independently implementing solutions to solve problems.
8. Create and maintain a safe and secure environment to ensure the security of all employees, customers, and products in your region.
9. You spend up to 50% of your time visiting the sellers in your region, including commute/travel time, and assist with launches of new programs as needed.
10. Must be able to work flexible hours and respond to any contingency.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
3. Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
