Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and improve supplier processes to meet procurement and quality management goals, including training suppliers on requirements, analysing their performance, and participating in improvement initiatives.
* Monitor and manage the safety, quality, and delivery performance of assigned suppliers using established metrics and KPIs.
* Enhance supplier capabilities by fostering a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven management.
* Stay up-to-date with product requirements and effectively communicate quality standards and initiatives.
* Collaborate with global functional departments with minimal supervision.
* Support and execute supplier qualification activities in line with global business management procedures.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies such as 6 Sigma and 8D, and familiarity with 5S and Lean principles.
* Strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, statistical analysis, and presentation software.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to present and train effectively.
* In-depth knowledge of core manufacturing and inspection processes such as forging, fabrication, machining, coating, welding, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
* Understanding of how industry and regulatory standards interact with customer requirements.
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong organisational skills to manage a diverse workload effectively.
* Proven ability to lead and facilitate improvement projects.
* Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO45001, and API Q1 audit processes, both as an auditor and an auditee.
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
