We are seeking a conscientious and experienced chef to join our friendly kitchen team.
We are a four star hotel with 41 bedrooms located in the centre of York. Our Brasserie seats up to approximately 40 guests and serves good quality, home-cooked food at a reasonable price point. Our style of cooking is British with some continental influences. We typically just open for dinner service each evening from 5pm until 9.30pm.
The Chef de Partie position on offer is permanent and for 40 hours per week which normally consists of five shifts from 2.30pm until 10.30pm.
The successful applicant is likely to already have experience at a chef de partie level but we would welcome applications from commis chefs who are ready to progress.
