Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals, particularly children, ensuring their well-being and development in a nurturing environment. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a willingness to engage in various activities that promote the growth and happiness of those in our care.
Duties:
* Assist individuals with daily living activities, meal preparation, and household tasks.
* Implement and follow care plans tailored to each individual's needs.
* Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support network.
* Engage children in educational and recreational activities that foster development and learning.
* Maintain accurate records of progress and any incidents that may occur during care.
* Drive individuals to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Collaborate with team members to create a supportive and positive environment for all individuals.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience working with children or in a similar support role is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with individuals and families.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with team members.
* A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation needs.
* A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing high-quality support.
* Ability to work flexibly as part of a team or independently when required.
