We are supporting our client by recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis.\nThis is a full time, permanent position that can offer a competitive salary plus excellent company benefits including 25 days holiday + bank holidays, life assurance, healthcare scheme, pension, employee assistance programme, retail discounts and 37.5 hours per week with a 1pm finish on a Friday.\nThe ideal candidate will maintain compliance with the existing quality approvals and obtain new quality approvals as required. You must fully understand the aerospace quality standards and regulatory requirements and have a sense of responsibility to ensure compliance and continual improvement.\nQuality Assurance Manager main duties:\n * Maintain existing certifications and approvals (ISO 9001, AS 9100, EASA Part 21G, 21O, 145).\n * Obtain new approvals for additional facilities as needed (e.g.
EASA Part 21J) Oversee the auditing system’s effectiveness and supervise the quality assurance audit team.\n * Manage annual audit schedules and programmes.\n * Conduct internal and supplier audits for approvals and re-approvals and Organise and support external third-party audits.\n * Administer the OASIS database.\n * Report on KPIs and Business Management System (BMS) metrics and Maintain and enhance the BMS.\n * Support customer reviews and occurrence reporting (e.g. MORs).\n * Manage top-level company documents (approvals, expositions, manuals).\n * Develop and approve new processes, procedures, and forms and review and approve updates to BMS documents.\n * Coordinate the closure of audit findings and non-conformities.\n * Maintain and oversee the Corrective Actions/Preventive Actions (CA/PA) system.\n * Support the resolution of Corrective Actions Requests (CARs) and approve extensions.\n * Report on open CARs and escalate unresolved issues.\n * Define and implement the BMS Quality Assurance Strategy.\n * Support strategic company initiatives to enhance performance.\n * Deliver BMS Quality Assurance training and inductions for new employees and Develop and distribute BMS Quality Issues leaflets and other communication materials.\n * Assist with quality-related customer questionnaires and bid processes.\n * Act as a primary contact for certification bodies (e.g. LRQA) and regulatory authorities (e.g.
CAA, EASA).\n * Engage with customers and aircraft manufacturers to ensure compliance.\nQuality Assurance Manager required skills and experience:\n * Extensive experience with Quality Management Systems in the aerospace industry.\n * Strong knowledge of aerospace quality and regulatory standards (ISO 9001, AS 9100, EASA Part 21G, 21O, 21J, 145).\n * Certified internal/lead auditor for ISO 9001 and/or AS 9100, with proven audit programme management experience.\n * Expertise in quality tools, techniques, and control procedures, including SPC (Statistical Process Control).\n * Understanding of MOR (Mandatory Occurrence Reporting), DOA-POA agreements, certifying staff, human factors, and FOD requirements.\n * Experience managing audits within the aerospace OASIS database.\n * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions using structured problem-solving techniques (e.g. 8D).\n * Experience guiding teams in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.\n * Proven ability to liaise with certification bodies, regulatory authorities (EASA, CAA), customers, and suppliers.\n * Strong skills in risk and opportunities management.\n * Excellent organisational, reporting, procedure writing, process mapping, and project management skills.\nIf the above position sounds perfect for you, or you require more information, please click apply or contact GMP Recruitment directly.\nGMP Recruitment are recruiting for this role on behalf of their client and are acting as an Employment Agency
