Job summary The LYPFT Safeguarding team are looking to recruit a highly motivated, experienced, registered nurse/AHP/Social worker with a background in safeguarding. The post holder will work equally across the safeguarding agenda for both children and adults at risk. The post holder will work as part of a team of safeguarding practitioners supporting the Head of safeguarding, Named Nurse for children and adults and the Trusts Named Doctor in ensuring the Trust discharges its responsibilities in relation to safeguarding children and adults at risk. The post holder will need to demonstrate recent experience in safeguarding children and adults in a health care setting. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of the safeguarding agenda including policy and procedure, strategic planning and education and training as well as audit and evaluation. Main duties of the job The post holder will provide expert safeguarding advice on a daily basis to Trust staff managing adults children and families with complex safeguarding concerns. You will contribute to multi agency partnership working arrangements for both safeguarding adults and children. Planning, facilitating and delivery of safeguarding training is a key role along with the provision of safeguarding supervision across the Trust.
