Randstad, in partnership with a friendly primary school in Uckfield, is seeking a committed and flexible SEN Teaching Assistant to provide support for four children across different age groups and learning needs.
The Role:
1. Hours: 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
2. Support Focus:Lunchtime: Assist two children in Key Stage 1 (Reception and Year 1).Afternoon Session: Provide 1:1 support to two children in Year 6. One child has ADHD, and the other experiences delayed learning, particularly with language development.
3. Flexible Support: This role requires adaptability to work with children across different age ranges and needs.
What We Are Looking For:
4. Experience: Prior experience working with children with SEN, particularly ADHD and language delays, is highly desirable.
5. Patience and Adaptability: A nurturing and flexible approach to supporting children with varying needs in both learning and behavioral aspects.
6. Resilience: The ability to manage challenges calmly and effectively.
7. Commitment: This is a temporary role with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
