Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established, expanding material handling company looking to recruit a new Service Office Administrator to work out of their office in the West Yorkshire. With a competitive salary, this is a great opportunity for an individual with customer service or administrative experience looking to get into a new role. Responsibilities Being a point of contact for customers with any service issues and resolving any general queries Liaising with engineers/technicians to ensure maintenance and service on forklift trucks is carried out on time Communicating with customers to ensure the correct parts are delivered and service levels are maintained Ordering in the correct parts for forklift trucks and other material handling equipment Carrying out all administrative tasks involved and assisting the other sections of the service team when people are on leave Requirements You will ideally have experience working within a role in a mechanical/technical background as a service controller or similar such as a hire controller, a hire manager or a fleet controller. The company is also open to considering individuals from the construction, automotive or commercial vehicles industries with a parts background. Alternatively, an individual with experience in a role that heavily involves customer service and administrative tasks. You will be a versatile person who is adaptable and able to be proactive with their work as well as being confident on the phone and adept with using all Microsoft packages.
