An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and self-motivated Skills Coach to join our Supported Internship programme team in Worcester. This is a full time (37.5 hours per week) permanent contract.
This role will require a driver and you will need access to your own vehicle as travel may be required during the day across our sites in the Worcester area.
As a Skills Coach, your role is central to the delivery of our Supported Internship programme. You will support learners with SEN to complete all elements of the programme in line with requirements by providing tailored support.

You will be accountable for learner progression in the workplace and achieving outcomes for the learner. You will deliver support in various ways; 1-1 job coaching, working with learners to develop employability skills and embed English and Maths learning in the workplace. The role aims to support people to learn the skills they need to go on and achieve sustained paid employment.
Do you have the key skills and requirements to be a Skills Coach? (essential):
Experience of supporting people

- Experience of delivering against targets
- Knowledge of safe working practices
- Knowledge of sector
- A-C/9-4 English & Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
- Good ICT skills
- Effective Communicator
- Effective record keeping and reporting
