As an Installer, you will be pivotal in providing essential signage to local companies. The Job In a nutshell, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and initial testing of our client’s equipment, systems, and products. This involves traveling to sites, ensuring installations meet industry standards, and providing basic training to users. Key responsibilities: Prepare installation sites by verifying measurements, securing necessary materials, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Install, assemble, and set up Exhibitions, displays & equipment according to specifications and guidelines provided. Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide project updates, and ensure customer satisfaction with the final product. Utilise specialised tools and equipment such as heat guns, cutting tools, and application squeegees to achieve precision during installation. Ensure the use and maintenance of all tools & equipment comply with safe and efficient performance. Rectify and report issues identified within Install to ensure successful completion of the task. Engineering principles to ensure all cardboard constructions are structurally sound, stable, and durable. Have a strong understanding of vinyl materials, adhesives, and application techniques, and troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation. You’ll need to play well with others as you will be coordinating with engineering teams to address complex problems. Utilise specialised tools and equipment such as heat guns, cutting tools, and application squeegees to achieve precision during installation. Must have a safety-first approach. Excellent communication skills. Cardboard engineering experience is desirable. Salary £27,000 - £32,000 per annumOvertime rate: time and a half.
