The Managed Legal Services (MLS) team works closely with our lawyers, designing and delivering optimised and efficient managed legal services that combine people, process and technology in a way that empowers CMS and our clients to do more with less. About the role As part of a growing and dynamic team, you will pay a key role supporting the promotion and growth of the MLS offering within the firm and working with lawyers and other parts of the firm to identify, scope and successfully deliver a growing pipeline of MLS. Working with the Senior Service Delivery Manager and reporting to the Head of Managed Legal Services, you will utilise your expertise in project management and delivery, stakeholder engagement and navigating change to enhance service delivery, improve efficiency and ensure services and projects adhere to timelines and budgets. The ability to multi-task, build relationships and translate client, legal and fee earner requirements into actionable plans, will be essential to the role and achieving successful outcomes. This role would be responsible for supporting service delivery across various projects and work types. You will work closely with our team's Senior Service Delivery Manager and Head of Managed Legal Services as well as various other senior stakeholders, fee earners at all levels and Business Services teams across a range of services and projects. Typical responsibilities will include: Supporting the scoping and process mapping of MLS Providing project management support across a number of MLS Ensuring effective governance, processes and defined outputs are in place for services and projects Using project management tools to manage and monitor progress on services being created and launched Troubleshooting issues flowing from services and ensuring delivery quality is maintained Understanding the financial benefits of MLS profitability and budgets and supporting on financial reporting Preparation and maintenance of MLS standard documents and materials Contributing to continuous improvement and evolving ways of working Understanding the resources available in the firm and identifying opportunities to consider different options Supporting on the development of new and bespoke MLS tools Thoroughly understanding how technology and of different resources can support project delivery Engaging with lawyers and other parts of the firm to promote/sell the value of the MLS solutions and products to the firm Analysing financial and other data and deliverables to communicate value to key stakeholders Understanding the financial drivers and metrics of the firm and ensuring services projects adhere as best as possible Recording and analysing time to track return on investment in services and capacity Confidently communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the firm About you We are looking for candidates with a background in the professional services or the legal sector. A minimum of 1 years' experience in a project management or service delivery role is required, and experience of 2 years is strongly preferred. Candidates must be self-motivated, solution orientated and demonstrate practical service delivery/project and technical examples. Given the nature of the role, candidates must be able to prioritise work, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and confidently navigate change/unknowns. To excel in the role candidates must be personable, foster a culture of collaboration and build credible and trusted relationships. We are a small and growing team, so adaptability, a curious mindset and the ability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment are all crucial to the role.
