Financial Controller:
Nottingham Grounds Maintenance is looking for a Financial Controller to join our team.

Job Description:
As a Financial Controller, you’ll be responsible for the internal day-to-day duties, including bank account reconciliation, using XERO accounting software, and ensuring payroll is completed. You will work alongside our external accountants to maintain an accurate and up-to-date reflection of our accounts. Your responsibilities will include:
* Verifying & posting purchase invoices to the XERO system and resolving discrepancies with suppliers or order originators.
* Reconciling and checking expense claims, ensuring VAT compliance and receipt accuracy.
* Reconciling & chasing receipts and invoices for VAT purposes.
* Monitoring budgets, identifying and reporting significant over or underspend.
* Completing payroll and maintaining organised records.
* Processing CIS contributions for both ourselves and sub-contractors.
Qualifications:
* Proficiency with XERO Accounting Software.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year (Negotiable)

Experience:
* Working on XERO is essential.
