Drive Motor Retail is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our team in this exciting new chapter. Working with Vauxhall and Leap Motor. This role presents a rare opportunity to drive success in a growing dealership.
The Role:
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the sales department, ensuring the team delivers outstanding results across multiple brands. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Team Leadership & Development – Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, ensuring they meet and exceed targets.
* Sales & Business Performance – Drive revenue and profit by managing new and used vehicle sales, finance, and additional products.
* Customer Satisfaction – Maintain high levels of customer service and ensure exceptional experiences at every stage of the sales process.
* Stock & Inventory Control – Manage stock levels effectively, optimising vehicle availability and reducing aged stock.
* Marketing & Lead Management – Work closely with the marketing team to maximise lead generation, conversion rates, and local market share.
* Compliance & Process Adherence – Ensure all sales activities comply with FCA regulations and manufacturer standards.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
* Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
* Maintain a high customer satisfaction index (CSI) score.
* Improve finance and additional product penetration rates.
* Reduce stock turn time and aged vehicle inventory.
* Ensure all FCA compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in automotive sales management, ideally across multiple brands.
* Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing successful teams.
* A results-driven approach with the ability to analyse and improve performance.
* Excellent understanding of finance, compliance, and stock control.
* Ability to adapt to a fast-growing, multi-brand environment.
