We have an opportunity for a Construction Plant Operator Trainer who will market, promote and deliver machine operation training to customers and Engineers as part of the “Operator Academy.
Job Description:
Main Duties:
* Market Operator training to customers to develop customer relationships in relation to Cat products and Finning Solutions. Deliver onsite customer operator training to Finning MPQC Gold card standards.
* Work with lines of business to promote customer training opportunities with sales of new machines.
* Develop and supervise training classes in line with Cat’s Professional Operator Certification Scheme and MPQC Gold care standards.
* Design, build and maintain appropriate training aids. Supervise all training courses to maintain safety of all involved and maximise learning.
* Utilise blended learning techniques to maximise training effectiveness. Complete relevant post course administration and documentation of assessment results.
* Work with Service Management to ensure our field engineering teams have all the required training/competence for machine movements on customer sites
* Coordinate training resources and equipment availability with the appropriate people before commencement of each training session.

Skill, Education & Experience
* Strong Organisational Skills & Diary Management Proficient – able to prioritise when faced with schedule/resource constraints
* High level of planning and rescheduling capability in an ever changing environment, critical to meeting customer dates
* Customer service-focused with an ability to work as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the business
* Ability to work independently, with initiative, self-motivation, attention to detail and discipline
* Organisational awareness/knowledge
* Product knowledge
* Application knowledge
* Coaching experience
* CDI and CIAP can be obtained once appointed
