Location: Commonwealth Center for Children and Adolescents (CCCA)
The Commonwealth Center for Children and Adolescents (CCCA) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Psychology Manager.
Position Overview:
Provide direction, oversight, and management to a psychology department including clinical and counseling psychologist, forensic assessment, and other administrative staff while meeting all internal and external regulations. Will serve as an active member of an interdisciplinary team by providing acute comprehensive and applicable psychological diagnostic evaluation including psychotherapeutic intervention strategies and consulting concerning diagnostic and treatment issues.
About CCCA:
Our mission is to provide comprehensive, high-quality, and individualized acute psychiatric and psychosocial inpatient services. We work in partnership with other providers to improve the lives of Virginia's children who need intensive care, as well as their families. Additionally, we are committed to building statewide capacity in behavioral healthcare by offering training opportunities to mental health and human service providers, as well as students, through partnerships with colleges, universities, and community agencies across central and western Virginia. We also collaborate with other mental health and child-serving organizations to offer guidance and expertise in the development of Virginia’s mental health system for children and adolescents.
Required Skills and Competencies:
* Extensive knowledge of psychological service delivery, including diagnostic evaluations, treatment, testing, and mental health service administration.
* Proven ability to write quality assurance reports, supervise professional staff, and provide psychotherapy in both group and individual settings.
* Strong skills in delegating responsibilities and supervising staff, with effective communication abilities for both internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:
* A Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology is required.
* A license to practice as a clinical psychologist in Virginia or license eligible.
* Clinical experience with children and adolescents is also required, as well as prior experience or specialized training in working with this population.

* Veteran and veteran spouse.
* Bilingual in Spanish.
