Smart Teachers are recruiting for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a 'Good' school in Acton, starting at Easter 2025.
About the role
Teaching Assistant required to support a Year 1 child on a 1:1 basis. The role is full-time, 08:30-15:30pm, ASAP until July initially. You will be supporting a child in Year 1 with ASD; he needs someone who can model the right behaviours, help him remain on task, and access the curriculum. The school is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is patient and able to impose consistent expectations.

This is a 2 form entry primary school in Acton, Ealing. The school has been graded as 'Good' with children being judged to make excellent progress due to high-quality teaching provided. The school has a community feel, with parent English lessons offered. There is onsite parking, and it is a 10-minute walk from tube stations.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of KS1 Teaching Assistant you will need:
1. Two recent references.
2. A 'child workforce only' DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are:
1. No experience in schools needed.
