If this is you then perhaps you were a born Care Coordinator As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for aligning the schedule of your Care Assistants with the important needs of supporting people to receive care in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include: Allocation of Care Assistants to all Customer visits. Responding to incoming telephone enquiries. Processing new customer enquiries and assessing whether we are able to fulfil them. Recruitment of new Care Assistants Ensuring Customer and Care Assistant records are up to date. Producing reports and management information as required. Some key skills that you will need for this role include: being a good communicator, being computer literate and experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), the ability to work to deadlines, accurate and attention to detail, and great organisational skills. If you’ve worked in the care industry previously and have experience of using rostering systems to prepare Care Assistant and Customer rotas. then that would be great as well, but it’s not mandatory.
