Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: England, South East England, Oxfordshire Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to students with special educational needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans tailored to students' specific needs and learning styles Assist students in developing academic skills and achieving educational goals Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience working with students with SEN Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students Strong understanding of the UK education system and SEN legislation Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) Experience working in a SEN-specific setting Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work may involve travel to different educational settings within Oxfordshire Collaborative work environment with teachers, parents, and other professionals All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
