Job Summary
Are you a registered professional working within mental health services (nurse, allied health professional, social worker) looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion to transform services and to support clients who may have 'fallen through the gaps' in other services? If so, why not consider a role with the Complex Needs Service in East Cheshire?
We support clients who meet the criteria for a personality disorder by providing a range of NICE recommended therapies. We are a small multidisciplinary team committed to working in a trauma-informed manner and providing support to clients to achieve their goals and outcomes. We also provide education and support to our wider professional colleagues.
Experience of Structured Clinical Management, DBT or MBT is advantageous; however, not required as full training will be provided.
We are currently recruiting a Clinical Lead to our East Cheshire Team on a 12-month secondment basis. The post is based across Cheshire East, so access to a car for work purposes is essential for this role. We welcome conversation with applicants interested in this post, particularly from underrepresented communities.
Main Duties of the Job
This role will be focused on supporting patients in the East Complex Needs Service. The post holder will be expected to work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary framework, providing training and staff development, specialist assessment, clinical support, and time-limited intervention to service users. The post holder will act as a source of expertise and point of contact within the team and demonstrate highly specialised communication skills and problem-solving abilities when prioritising risk.
