The Role:
We are seeking dynamic and adaptable Mathematics Teachers to inspire and engage students across different educational settings. Whether in a mainstream secondary school or a specialist SEN provision, your role will be to foster a love for mathematics, build students' confidence, and help them develop the skills needed to succeed academically and in life.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated mathematics lessons tailored to students' needs and abilities.
* Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged.
* Using innovative teaching strategies to make maths accessible, relevant, and enjoyable for all students.
* Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to aid development.
* Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
* Managing classroom behavior effectively, setting clear expectations, and fostering a respectful learning space.
* Supporting students with additional learning needs, including those with EHCPs in SEN schools, by adapting teaching methods and materials appropriately.
* Encouraging resilience, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in students to help them overcome learning barriers.

* Experienced in working with diverse student needs – experience in SEN settings is desirable but not essential.
* Committed to student progress – ensuring that all learners, regardless of background or ability, achieve their potential.
* A role model – demonstrating professionalism, patience, and resilience in all aspects of the role.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching mathematics at secondary level (KS3-KS4, with KS5 desirable).
* A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
* Right to work in the UK.
