Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cutter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that materials are cut accurately and efficiently to meet our operational needs. This position requires a strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance, as well as the ability to handle materials safely in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
1. Operate cutting equipment with precision to ensure high-quality outputs.
2. Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on cutting machinery.
3. Handle materials effectively, including loading and unloading from delivery vehicles.
4. Maintain an organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
5. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate inventory management.
6. Utilise a warehouse management system for tracking materials and inventory levels.
7. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency.
Experience
1. Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
3. Familiarity with basic maths for measurements and calculations related to cutting processes.
4. Experience with heavy lifting and safe handling of materials is essential.
5. Previous exposure to forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory.
6. Skills in materials handling and warehouse management will be considered an asset.
