Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

* Support the class teacher, with preparation of resources or classroom as required
* Prepare and deliver interventions with groups or individual students in accordance with training given
* Complete first aid training

* Adapt teaching strategies to support all learners (for example, scaffolding, open questioning).

Your training plan
Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
* Training will take place on the job
* You will have a dedicated Industry Expert tutor who will deliver one to one training sessions
* You will meet your tutor once every 6 weeks
