Job Title: Registered Manager - Dual Homes
Location: Wheaton Aston
Home Capacity: 3 bed + 3 bed (Homes within walking distance)
Provision: Children and Young People (7 to 17 years)
Work Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4 pm)
Annual Leave: 6 weeks, plus statutory bank holidays
Salary: £48,000

You will be working alongside a dedicated Regional Responsible Individual (RI) and Operations Director, who brings a wealth of experience as Operations and RI with top-tier children's home providers.

Your Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will lead and inspire our team to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD). You will ensure that our care aligns with our values and meets all relevant legislation and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth operation of the residential homes, complying with relevant legislation and policies.
* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a compassionate care team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Personalized Care: Develop and implement tailored care plans for each young person, promoting their well-being and development.
* Guidance and Support: Provide ongoing support and supervision to staff, ensuring the highest standards of care.
* Clinical Interventions: Collaborate with Clinical Psychologists to implement evidence-based interventions.
* Engagement and Development: Encourage young people to participate in therapies, education, and life skill activities.
Daily Adventures:
* Performance Management: Oversee individual and team performance to ensure excellence in service delivery.
* Financial Responsibility: Monitor budgets and expenses, ensuring efficient use of resources.
* Stakeholder Relations: Build positive relationships with care team members, young people, and other stakeholders.
* Compliance and Quality: Maintain high standards in living environments and ensure all documentation meets statutory requirements.
* Collaboration: Work with internal and external professionals to meet the care needs of young people.
* Regulatory Audits: Conduct monthly and six-monthly Regulation 44 and Regulation 45 audits.
* Out-of-Hours Support: Participate in our out-of-hours assistance system.
* Training and Development: Manage team schedules, monitor training, and provide monthly supervision and annual appraisals.
* Health & Safety: Develop and implement COSHH, Risk Assessments, and Health & Safety procedures.
* HR Support: Assist with interviews, lead induction processes, and participate in disciplinary procedures.
* Continuous Improvement: Attend training and meetings, and continuously develop your skills and knowledge.
