Are you a District Nurse/Advanced Nurse Practitioner who could help us to achieve our vision of becoming a centre of excellence in remote and rural healthcare?
This exciting opportunity may well be for you. A District Nurse/Advanced Nurse Practitioner Team Lead post has arisen for suitably qualified, experienced, and forward-thinking nurse to provide professional nursing leadership and clinical expertise to our Mainland Orkney Nursing Team. You will work with highly committed nurses and managers and be part of leading the redesign and development of community nursing services across Orkney in line with the transforming roles and remobilising service agendas.
The post holder will be a District Nurse/Advanced Nurse Practitioner who can evidence experience in delivering high quality care with strong leadership skills to motivate and lead a team. The post holder should be able to demonstrate experience working in a clinical team with management/leadership responsibility at Band 6 level or above. You will have a commitment to working in collaboration with inter-agency colleagues to provide safe, effective, and person-centred care for patients, families, communities, and colleagues. You should possess excellent communication and organisational skills which are essential in this role. This role will comprise of 0830-1700 working with occasional weekend and out of hours cover.
